Deepak Ajmani
U.S. Chief Operations Officer
Deepak Ajmani has served as U.S. Chief Operations Officer since September 2020. He has held a number of leadership roles supporting Wendy’s restaurants and franchisees since joining the Company in 1990.
Notably, these include his most recent role as Senior Vice President, U.S. Company Operations and roles as Vice President of U.S. Restaurant Services and Vice President of the Florida Division before that.
A true operator at heart, Deepak began his career with Wendy’s as an Assistant Manager in Harrisburg, PA. He quickly progressed through the ranks, generating outstanding results and growing the next generation of restaurant and field Operations leaders along the way.
Deepak has a deep passion for the Wendy’s brand and brings a, “It’s not real until it’s real in the restaurant,” perspective to everything he touches.
Deepak serves as a trustee of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, a position he has proudly held since 2017.
A believer in building and empowering diverse teams, he is also a member of the Wendy’s Cultural Diversity Resource Group and is a frequent speaker and contributor at Company Diversity, Equity and Inclusion events.
The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is Deepak’s go-to menu item, which he enjoys regularly when visiting restaurants across the country. His love for the restaurant teams and customers who visit Wendy’s are what energize him and fuel his love affair with the brand.
Deepak holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the H.R. College, Mumbai, India where he specialized in Accounting. He also received a bachelor’s degree in Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
